House Rules:

  • Smoking including vaping is allowed on the far end of the jetty only.

  • No fires or BBQ’s permitted.

  • No dogs permitted.

  • Please leave the accommodation cleaner than you found it.

Facilities:

  • Kitchen/dining room: x2 stoves, microwave, cooking utensils, jugs, toasters, pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs/cups, glasses and cutlery, x2 fridge/freezers. Dining room with tables/chairs and a heat pump. Our tank water is UV treated and safe to drink. Please conserve water as much as possible. In very dry weather, you may be asked to bring your own drinking water.

  • Waste: We compost food waste. Please put any food waste in the white bucket labelled “compost” in the Lodge Kitchen. Please take all your recycling and rubbish off the island when you leave.

  • Lounge: Heat pump, sofa’s, armchairs, games, bookcase, coffee table.

  • Bathroom: x2 hand basins; x1 shower for occasional use. Please conserve water as much as possible. If using the shower, please keep it short (2 minutes).

  • Toilets: x2 composting toilets (shared with day visitors). They can only cope with pee, poo and toilet paper. There is a separate rubbish bin for sanitary products. Always close the toilet lid after use so warm air can circulate and help with the composting process. This prevents them from getting smelly too. Useful bacteria break down the waste and it’s critical that no harsh chemical products are used to clean the toilets. These will kill the beneficial bugs. The Keeper will clean the toilet, using appropriate cleaning products.
